Define the Problem
In this project we were given the task of creating a formula 1 car in Inventor, then modifying it. We had to either watch videos or follow a pdf guide to figure out how to build the basic design for the car. Then we modified it to make it the best.
Goals of this project:

Present Solution
To start the project off I felt I was doing pretty well with Inventor. I remembered most of the basic maneuvers and followed the directions pretty well. But, as I got farther into the project it started to get harder and I was becoming more confused. Also, I had to finish the project on a laptop at home which just made it worse. When I first tried to turn on the laptop it was doing updates for an hour and 30 minutes. Every time I did something quickly Inventor would stop responding and I would have to wait like 30 seconds; it was very frustrating. The skills I remembered were the simple ones like extrude, fillet, hole, sketch, using dimensions, and using constraints. The ones I had to spend more time on were the edit form, joints, using degrees of freedom, and switching the visibility. After doing this project though I feel a lot more comfortable with them and believe using them in the future will be easier. If I were to do this project again I would spend more time modifying my car. Because I was at home it was hard to do some modifications without help or guidance from my peers. Overall I would say this was a very fun project and I learned a lot through out it.
