List of Problems
1. Working at home these days can be really stressful. Having to get all ready just to work at home from a desk is a pain. Also there are many negatives from working at a desk. There are several health issues to consider when it comes to working at a desk. Sitting at a desk affects your posture, mental health, and stress levels. It may also contribute as a factor of certain medical issues, such as cardiovascular diseases and carpal tunnel syndrome. Also working from the same spot all day gets boring and makes you feel exhausted. There should be a way to work from somewhere more comfortable and different.
2. It can sometimes be a challenge to open a can of soda. Your fingernails could be too short to get under the tab, or the tab has fallen off, leaving you with no way to open your can of soda. There are some can opener products which could be used as a solution for this problem.
3. Everyday people forget or lose their wallet. In a survey 62% of respondents have had their wallets lost or stolen. More than 1 in 3 had suffered both from wallet loss and theft, while 36% of those admitting misplacing their wallet did so repeatedly! It’s an everyday struggle when you’re rushing to work/school and you misplace your wallet. Their needs to be a way to track your wallet so you can stop losing it.
4. Cell phones have become apart of everyday life for a lot of people around the world, nearly half the worlds population owns one. They are used for communication, entertainment, and banking/shopping. After a long day of using your cell phone, the battery has probably been drained a significant amount. If you forget or are unable to charge your phone, you will be unable to use it the next day, causing you an inconvenience.
5. While at school, people often carry a pencil case to store their writing utensils. These pencil cases can get very disorganized, making it hard to find what you are looking for.

Individual Summary
The Past 2 weeks have been filled with ups and downs. It started off with me being really stressed from school and having to find a problem for our capstone project. The idea we had for our first problem was already invented which really stunk. Luckily Jack had another Idea which was perfect. We went with that and got right to work. After that everything went pretty smoothly. The second week I was on vacation so I couldn’t do a lot of work. We had finished most of it though which was good; and Jack helped pick up anything I missed. Our survey results showed that our problem is actually a problem. Most people said they work at a desk and bed which is exactly what our problem is for. Also the survey showed most people feel uncomfortable working at a desk all day; and that they believe a bed desk would benefit them. For a price the majority said they would pay 20-30$. I’m passionate about this problem because I love doing my homework from my bed. It’s so much more comfortable then working at a desk. But, it always seems my work gets all over my bed and it becomes a mess. Having a bed desk would fix this problem. Also sometimes I have to work at a normal desk when I’m doing math homework or something that requires a lot of materials. This is why having something to switch between normal and bed would be perfect.
