I did all the measurements to see if there was going to be any outlier cubes that needed to be replaced. I did this because the outlier cubes would either be to big or small for my puzzle cube. First I measured the width of all the cubes with the dial caliper. Then i calculated the mean of the cubes; and found the standard deviation. After that I subtracted or added the standard deviation to the mean, this is how you find out which cubes are outliers.
I found my range by subtracting the minimum width from the maximum width. Range basically shows the difference between all of your cubes.

These are Isometric sketches. I sketched them to give me ideas on parts I could use for my puzzle cube. Each part being 4-6 pieces and having 5 pieces in my puzzle cube.

I used the Mate and Flush constraints when assembling my puzzle cube. First I would mate the two inner sides together. This would still allow the part to go in and out and side to side, it would remove the parts freedom to go up and down. Then I would flush the sides together. After this the part could not move,

Evaluate the Solution
The age of the people who solved the puzzle cube did not correlate to their age (except for the fact that my dad being the oldest solved it the fastest). My dad solved it the fastest in 10 minutes and 37 seconds. My mom being a couple years younger than my dad solved it in 15 minutes. My friend Wil who is in high school solved it in 11 minutes 48 seconds. My brother Tristan who is in middle school(and the youngest) solved the cube in 13 minutes and 30 seconds. My neighbor who is also in middle school solved the cube in 20 minutes and 24 seconds. I would make the cube easier to solve because when i first created it I forgot how to put it back together without a picture of it. Also I would use something else than marker to color it because it gets all over my hands when I hold it.
Present the Solution
Personally I thought that the puzzle cube project was really fun. At first I hated it because I had 6 cubes when we were supposed to have 5 cubes. After that it became really enjoyable. I used the design process to help me create my puzzle cube. Without the design process i would of probably failed this project. Using the design process helped me with the layout of my cube, brainstorming, and creating the multiviews. Using inventor was very confusing at sometimes but after a while it was super cool. The way that you created the puzzle cube and the parts was very interesting. Also I liked the fact that it did the multiviews for you and dimensioning was super easy. Lastly I liked the amount of creativity you could use with the constraints of cube. Using weebly is super easy to use when creating a website. All you have to do is pull over the text tab on the side and start typing. It is the same for all the other tabs. The people who were solving my cube found it very challenging. When I first created it I forgot how to put it back together. Most of them took a long time so I gave them hints and they finally figured it out. It was really funny watching them try to figure it out and not being able to. In the end I thought the puzzle cube was a very fun project.
