Survey Summary
We both showed the designs to our families to get their opinions, then I surveyed people at my parents work to get an outside perspective. The results of the survey were pretty mixed, but Jack's first design was most popular as it was liked by 7 out of 12 respondents. Most liked that there were drawers on the desk, they also liked that the bed desk could essentially be used anywhere.
Poster Walk
Poster Walk Summary
Overall, we had pretty positive and informative feedback on our design. The main critiques of our product had to do with the weight of the removable bed desk and with the foldable legs of the bed desk. Our classmates were concerned that the material used for the removable portion of the desk might be too heavy to lift. Another suggestion we had was making the foldable legs on the bed desk height adjustable, so it can be used by anyone. There was also the suggestion of adding a charging station in the removable part of the desk, I thought this was pretty interesting and it could possible be incorporated into our design.

Annotated Final Design and Description
This product is a normal office desk with a “bed desk” built into it. A portion of the table top slides out revealing the bed desk which has foldable legs that can pop out once you remove it. This desk can be used on the bed, couch, and almost anywhere. Also, this miniature desk is very durable and is able to withstand heavy books and other materials. The office desk will have drawers for storage and holes for wires to go through. This product will help solve our customers problems of being uncomfortable at a desk all day. They will be able to work from wherever they want and still have a high quality desk.
